Christmas order cut-off dates:

In order to receive in time for Christmas please order by these dates:

  • For personalized items like charcuterie boards & glassware orders placed by Dec 14th, will arrive in time for Christmas.
  • For non-personalized items like plates, napkins, picks, and cutlery, orders placed by Dec 15th will arrive in time for Christmas.

US Shipping (Contiguous 48 states)

  • Please allow 2-3 business days of processing time for non personalized items to ship. Please allow 5-7 days business days for any personalized items to ship. 
  • For a limited time, we are offering FREE standard ground shipping on all U.S. orders! Please allow 4-7 days for ground shipping shipping to arrive. 
  • Orders for Non-Personalized products placed before 1pm EST will be processed & shipped within 2-3 business days.
  • Orders for Personalized Items (Cheese/Serving Boards & Glassware) will be processed & shipped within 5-7 business days. 
  • Please allow 4-7 days for Ground Shipping. Transit time dependent on ship-to address. See map below for approximate transit time by state.
  • Expedited Shipping - UPS 2nd Day Air options may be available on orders. Be sure to check the Shipping section during checkout for availability. Note all orders received before 1pm EST will be processed within 2-4 business days. We do not ship on weekends.
  • Note: UPS 2 Day is delivered within 2 business days once shipped. Weekends do not count as shipping or delivery days. Excludes Hawaii & Alaska
    • PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CARRIER DELAYS (for example Weather, or anything beyond our control)

    • Canada shipping available. $25 USD for shipping for 2-4 days transit time.

      Return Policy

      Non-Personalized Items:

      We gladly accept returns for any non-personalized product ordered on within 30 days of receipt, no questions asked. Before you ship the return back to us, please note the following:

        1. Item(s) must be returned in unused condition in their original packaging. Please include the order number. 
        2. Make sure to ship the contents in a sturdy box (not a padded mailer or paper envelope) , as damaged returns cannot be accepted. 
        3. Please use a shipping service that offers tracking numbers.
        4. Once shipped, please email us your tracking number, shipment details, and order number to

        6. Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer. Please allow up to 2 weeks for your refund to be processed after the merchandise is received. 
        7. Items on clearance or promotion at time of purchase are not returnable. If these items are returned to Sophistiplate we will not be able to provide a refund.
        8. Personalized items are not eligible for returns - see more detail in our Personalized Items return policy below 

      Personalized Items:

      Because each personalized item is custom made to order per unique specifications, we cannot accept returns for these items.  However, if your personalized item arrives incorrect, damaged, or defective, please notify us by email ( of the issue and include an image of the issue within 30 days of delivery and we will send a pre-paid return label and replace it at no cost.  In some cases, we can accept a photo of the issue rather than requiring a return.

      Damaged/Missing/Incorrect Item

      • Please report any damage, missing, or incorrect item(s) upon receiving your delivery to Please keep all the contents of the package in place and take photos of the damaged parcel in order to file a claim.
