Engraved Recipe Maple Board | Personalized Recipe | 12 x 8

My mom's recipe arched on the maple board is exquisite! My mom passing recently was very awakening to me brought a big hole in my life and my daughters so having her own writing of their favourite recipe on this board is so special! The workmanship is beautiful! I highly recommend this business for anyone as keepsakes for their own family!

I ordered an engraved cutting board for my step daughter with a handwritten recipe of her grandma's that passed away several years ago. It turned out so beautiful. I can't wait to give it to her for Christmas

I am very happy with my purchase. The only downside, I don't want to use it for fear of it becoming worn out damaged somehow. I really do, absolutely, love my board. Mine is engraved with my mom's potatoe salad recipe, one of my most favorite thing that she makes.

I ordered this as a birthday gift for my brother. You see, our Grandparents were bakers, from the 1950's to the 1980's. These are their original recipes, handwritten by our Grandfather, and our Aunt, who recently passed. I CAN'T WAIT to see the expression on his face when he opens them.

These items quickly become family heirlooms!

It was a recipe from my deceased Mothers handwriting. She was uneducated and wrote messily..She raised her 9 brothers and sisters and had to quit school to help care for them. It's a very cherished thing. Thanks

I had ordered one board w a saying written in our late Nana’s handwriting, who passed on 9/11 at 96. When I received the one board, I loved it and preceded to order 12 more for each family. When I got those…they looked nothing like the first board. The writing was dark and shakey….like something out of a high school wood shop class. Needless to say, I went around and around w customer service to get the boards replaced. I finally heard from Dan, the owner of the company, after he saw the difference of the quality of the second set of 12 Boards, he agreed to have me return the boards and they would redo them….I am waiting nervously for the new boards to arrive and hoping they are beautiful in time for Christmas to surprise my family. They will be a cherished treasure of our late Nana.

I ordered this for a family member who recently lost everything in a house fire. I had one of her late mother’s favorite recipes engraved on it. It is absolutely gorgeous and what a treasure for her new house when it is rebuilt.

The quality of the board is exquisite! It is a Christmas gift. This will be my new favorite gift. The only downside is Sophisiplate advertised order by 12/17/25 and receive by Christmas. I even called in to find out when I would receive the item and was told it would be delivered by 12/22/25. PS - it was delivered 1/5/26.

My experience with Sophistiplate was FANTASTIC!!! they were super friendly and helpful to work with ---i ordered three engraved cutting boards from an old recipe card written by Mother, who we lost a couple of years ago----this recipe card was kind of corny, as it had a little girl at the top dressed in a baking outfit and some flowers on the bottom of the recipe card----I actually was only expecting the actual recipe itself to be engraved but they also applied all the cutsie little artwork ----really brought tears to my eyes! these are a great gift and keepsake!!!

Best product EVER!!!! I'm so glad I saw this, and ordered these boards engraved with my Grandparents recipes for my Brother for his Birthday!!! My grandparents had started a bakery before we were born, and had it until the 1980s. I'm so glad I have the original recipes, handwritten by my Grandfather and my Aunt to give him!!
